The Abacus range features products from many of their specialist collections such as the functional and minimalist Series 2, which has squared edges and the equally functional Series 1 which has softer, curved edges. The premium free-standing baths include items from the Laguna and Varese range.

Single-ended baths

Single-ended baths are a classic option for straight baths, ideal for small bathrooms and smaller households. Not only are single ended baths the bath of choice for most households, but they are a timeless, affordable option that suits all spaces. Single-ended baths have the space for tap fittings at one end, allowing users to lay with their head at the other end. Thanks to the popularity of single-ended baths, it's easy to find suitable taps and mixers for them.

Abacus Bathrooms have created a wide choice of single-ended baths, making it easy to find the right solution for your bathroom and for your household. A popular choice is the Series 1 single ended bath, which has an oval basin. This rounded interior makes the bath both comfortable to lie in and attractive to look in. It has been constructed in Armour Plus super strength acrylic, which is extremely durable and easy to clean. It is also available in three sizes; 206, 215 and 225 litres, making it easy to find the right capacity bath for your bathroom. The Series 2 bath, on the other hand, features a rectangular inner space, which makes it feel slightly roomier and has a design look which is ideal for starkly modern bathrooms and for those who enjoy clean lines and minimalist finishes. The Series 2 single ended bath is also made from Armour Plus super strength acrylic. We also stock an affordable single ended oval bath in standard acrylic. All of the single ended baths feature End Wastes and un-drilled overflows.

Double ended

Double ended baths are an increasingly popular choice when it comes to straight baths, as they can improve both the look of your bathroom and the comfort of your bath experience. Double ended baths have space for taps in the centre and along one side, which means you can lie either way without your head hitting the taps. Double ended baths are associated with luxurious settings such as premium hotels. They are increasingly popular in the homes of those with discerning and elegant tastes. Double ended baths are ideal for sharing a bath with a partner and also for those with young children. Again we stock a choice of Series 1 and Series 2, the first of which has an oval interior and the latter, a squared interior space. Both are available in Armour Plus super strength acrylic with drilled overflows, whilst the oval shape is also available in an affordable standard acrylic with an un-drilled overflow. All of the double ended baths from Abacus have an end waste feature built in. All three double ended bath options in the Abacus range come in a choice of two capacity sizes.

Inset oval bath

An inset bath can create a stunning look in your bathroom, giving a polished built-in finish whilst also being hugely practical. Inset baths allow for more storage space around the bath and also have the ultimate look of modernity with clean lines and a sense of neatness. The Series 1 Inset Bath is an exceptional choice and features the same Oval shape as the rest of the Series 1 products. This bath has a generous capacity of 233 litres as well as an attractive centre off-set chrome waste and also makes use of the superbly practical and conformable Armour Plus super strength acrylic. The Series 1 oval multi-surround bath kit is the essential add-on for this bath. Once the bath is set into this surround, it can be finished with tiling of your choice, making it easy to create a bespoke look in your bathroom. Freestanding Baths

Freestanding baths have long been popular in the homes of the most discerning interior designers and in luxurious hotels or penthouse suites. Freestanding baths give off the air of sophisticated French châteaux or luxury Italian villa. You can now bring this level of prestige to your home with one of our many freestanding baths. As opposed to the straight outer edges required for single ended and double ended baths, which are designed to be fitted along with a wall, freestanding baths can be made into more creative, pleasingly curved shapes, as they do not have to fit into a predetermined space. They normally also have higher sides, which offers both more modesty and add to the feeling of escape. Freestanding baths require a slightly larger bathroom as they tend to be placed in the centre of the room, or at least away from the wall.

The double-ended Varese Freestanding Bath measures 1700 x 800mm and has been made in a pleasingly oval shape. This bath requires a freestanding tap, mixer unit and a floor fitting kit. This elegant one-piece bath has no seams and has been constructed in super strong Lucite Acrylic. This bath is supplied without waste. Choose from the Viega Multiplex VIE-101909 pop-up waste or a Slimline Clic-Clac waste. The bath can be accompanied by a bath trap that can be sited above floor level.

Our freestanding bath range also features the Varese S, which has all the same features and measurements as the Varese but has been finished in an elegant slipper shape, which means one end is slightly raised for added comfort and modesty when lying in the bath.

Our ultimate prestige freestanding bath is the Lugano, which measures 1700 x 1700 mm. This stunningly constructed marble cast solid-surface bath features an innovative and functional Evermite coating which makes for easy cleaning and is highly durable. This bath has a built-in click waste feature and a sleek, minimalist internal overflow. Like all of our freestanding baths, there is no mount for taps, which means buyers will need to choose a wall mounted or floor mounted taps. Please note that the waste pipe for this bath needs to be run within the floor.

Bath Screens

Bath screens offer additional modesty but also protect the floor from moisture when used in just a bath or bath with a shower attachment. These bath screens are designed for inset, double ended and single ended baths. All of the Abacus bath screens feature either a one-piece or two-piece design, the latter of which includes a fixed panel of glass and a second which hinges from that one. One-piece panels feature one glass panel which hinges on the wall fitting. Some of the bath screens feature a built-in metal towel rail on the exterior side, which is an excellent functional feature that can be used to store a hand towel, bath towel or bath mat. All of our bath screens are made from toughened safety glass and have been finished with Easi-Clean glass coating technology which can be easily cleaned for a sparklingly, clear surface every time.

Bath Panels

Abacus also have a range of Bath Panels which can be necessary for fitting single and double ended baths. We stock both front and end panels, constructed from moisture-proof materials. All of our bath panels can be cut to size and installed easily using basic hand tools. These pre-formed panels include adjustable feet. We can also create bespoke bath panels for you by adding tiles of your choice from our selection and pre-cutting it to size. Buyers will also require our bath panel mounting kit to help with installation.

Bath fillers and wastes

Fillers and wastes are essential for baths and are necessary for those products which do not have these as built-in features. Our range includes a choice of popup filler and waste units. This includes the Exafill S Bath Filler and Pop Up Waste with Finish Set which features a chrome finish on the exterior fittings. We also stock the affordable Flexaplus S Bath Filler and Pop Up Waste with Finish Set, which also features chrome finished fittings. Both of these units require a DN50 - 2" Adapter which can also be found here in the bath accessories pages.
