Designed to be fitted in corners, quadrant shower trays are space saving and comfortable and provide an alternative to standard models by adding a cool curve to your bathroom space. They save space. The curved front on quadrant trays leaves more room on the outside of the shower enclosure than is achieved with rectangular or square tray shapes.

Are all Quadrant Shower Trays the Same Shape?
In the UK we have quadrant trays with a standard radius off 550 degrees. All the quadrants we sell are 550 unless specifically stated otherwise. Quadrant trays from the non-UK and continental market can have different radiuses, so rest assured that in purchasing your quadrant tray from Premium Plumbing you are buying a fully compatible version with other UK 550 radius quadrants.
What is the Radius?
The radius is the angle of the curved section on the quadrant tray. This measurement is vital as it means the angle of the glass door on the quadrant shower enclosure you choose to use on your tray will match up perfectly. As mentioned above purchasing from Premium Plumbing means you have a wide selection of 550 radius trays, just check with our sales team for any queries.

Quadrant Shower Trays with Upstands
Upstands are available on some models from manufacturers such as Matki, MX Trays and more. Upstands are tiling upstands, these are sections on the lip of the tray that are raised and form a waterproof area around the lip of the tray. This is then tiled onto hence the name tiling upstand. We do offer a solution to add this to any tray, simply purchase the Origins Aquastrap shower seal strip which can be added to any tray or bath for the same waterproofing reassurance.
Quadrant Shower Tray with Riser Kit
Most quadrant shower trays from Premium Plumbing are available with optional riser kits. A riser kit raises the tray up via legs which can be adjusted to a taller height to raise the tray. Some riser kits come with acrylic panels to cover this gap, we would recommend tiling this space as an alternative, you could use a product like the fantastic waterproof Wedi board to tile onto.

Quadrant Shower Tray with Corner Waste
A selection of shower trays from Premium Plumbing have a corner waste including the MX Optimum quadrant shower tray. Some quadrant trays will have a central waste, this is a popular option as the water pools down the slightly sloping edges into the drain, aiding drainage naturally. Wastes can also be positioned in either edge, it is sensible to opt for a waste at the opposite side to your entrance if you are going for a sliding opening.
